Welcome to KA.com! My young adult book, Crush: Love Poems, received a starred review from School Libary Journal, and is up for two awards: Virginia Library Award, and the Lee Bennett Hopkins Award. I'll be performing over this winter and spring with a talented musician named Titilayo, and, my school literacy work is really taking off. I just returned from a school residency in Long Island (pictured), and this spring, I will be bringing Bookinaday, a student-run publishing program, to several high schools.

KA Productions, LLC specializes in producing arts events and festivals around the world. This year, we are producing two literary festivals. Read. Write. Chil.
